The morning of the 9th of October saw the 6th Batch of MBBS students entering SLMCH. The event commenced with the registration process, followed by, formal briefings through two key speeches-address by the Principal and the Medical Superintendent. The main ceremonial proceedings began with the Tamil Thai Vazhthu and the traditional Lighting of the Kuthuvilakku. The welcome address and Inaugural address were delivered by the Dean and Vice Chancellor respectively. Following a Felicitation segment, the institution’s Executives and Heads of Departments were formally introduced to the attendees. This transitioned into the core academic induction, featuring the White Coat Ceremony and the formal Oath taking by the new MBBS Students. The program wrapped up with a Vote of Thanks as the enthusiastic students embarked on their medical career in SLMCH.
