The NICU team headed by our head of the department Dr. Suba Rajinikanth has provided visionary leadership, consistently guiding the unit with clinical excellence and administrative strength.

The Assistant professors and Senior Residents(consultant Paediatrician )who are part of the team has shown remarkable clinical acumen, handling even the most critical cases with precision and confidence. Timely interventions, evidence-based management, and proactive decision-making have ensured the best possible outcomes for our tiny patients. Their 24×7 presence, dedication to rounds, and willingness to go the extra mile for each baby is truly commendable.

Equally important is the state-of-the-art NICU infrastructure is world class that enables high-quality intensive care:

Radiant warmers and servo-controlled incubators ensure optimal thermal regulation for preterm and low birthweight babies.
Bubble CPAP and mechanical ventilators support babies with respiratory distress and apnea effectively.
Phototherapy units (both LED and conventional) provide treatment for neonatal jaundice with precision.
Multiparameter monitors track heart rate, respiratory rate, oxygen saturation, and blood pressure continuously.
Infusion and syringe pumps allow for accurate fluid and medication delivery.
Transport incubators enable safe transfer of neonates within and outside the hospital.
A point-of-care ABG analyzer, pulse oximeters, Xray machine, Ultrasound, ECHO ,central oxygen and suction systems, and neonatal resuscitation trolleys ensure readiness in all emergencies.

Equally indispensable is our nursing staff, who are the backbone of the NICU. From managing ventilators to feeding preterm babies with utmost care, their role cannot be overstated.
