VIDEO LARYNGOSCOPY
It is a procedure aiding in visualizing the larynx, commonly called as voice box, and the structures surrounding it. We ensure the patients with difficulty in swallowing, or a change in voice undergo this examination to detect the laryngeal changes and for prompt treatment.
Purpose:
- To visualize the vocal cords and surrounding structures.
- For assessment of voice disorders, hoarseness, or throat pain.
- For evaluation of masses, lesions, or vocal cord paralysis.
- Used in airway management, especially during intubation in anesthesia and emergency care.
