The Gynec ICU at SLMCH is a 10 bedded specialized critical care unit dedicated to managing critically ill women with complex obstetric and gynaecological conditions
It provides intensive monitoring and life saving interventions for conditions such as severe preeclampsia, Postpartum hemorrhage ,sepsis , organ failure and post surgical complications
The unit is equipped with state of the artfacilities comprising of ventilators, CPAP, BIPAP machines and defibrillators and sophisticated monitoring systems
It is staffed by our proficientmultidisciplinary team including obstetricians, anaesthetists, intensivists and ICU trained nurses ensuring round the clock comprehensive care for both mother and fetus
Labour room complex in SLMCH is equipped with state of the art labour rooms, septic labour rooms ,antenatal and postnatal observation rooms and Eclampsia room (Obstetric high dependency unit) caring women from early labour till delivery and immediate postpartum, to both low risk and high risk obstetric patients.
Labor rooms feature comfortable birthing environments, amenities for pain management and relaxation supporting a positive birthing experience.
It is designed to ensure maternal comfort and safety with facilities for fetalmonitoring , pain relief and emergency obstetric interventions.
