A free medical health camp was conducted at Grama Devi Koil on 05/06/2026. The event aimed at providing accessible health care services, early disease detection and referral support for under served populations in the locality.
Camp highlights:
Total patients screened: 77 newly diagnosed diabetes cases: 8, hypertensive cases: 5, referrals: 3 patients who were diagnosed with cataract were referred for fee cataract surgery under DBCS scheme. Specialist participation: Department of Ophthalmology took part in this camp. This camp reflects SLMCH’s enduring commitment to extending quality care to communities in need, reflecting our motto: “Caring lives” in action.
