A free medical health camp was conducted at JJ Mahal, Kolapakkam, on 03/03/2026. The event aimed at providing accessible health care services, early disease detection and referral support for under served populations in the locality. Those in whom cataract cases were picked up were referred to SLMCH for free cataract surgery under DBCS scheme.

Total patients screened: 26, referrals: 3 patients with conditions requiring advanced care were referred to SLMCH for further evaluation. Specialist participation: Department of Ophthalmology took part in this camp.
